Your Membership Dues Make a Difference

 

When you join OBFAA, your membership dues directly support our mission to protect and advance Oregon’s alarm and life safety industry. These contributions help fund advocacy efforts, industry training, public education, and member events that keep our community informed, connected, and compliant. Every dollar goes toward strengthening our collective voice and ensuring a safer future for the communities we serve.

Membership Application

Class R / Regular Member:

Any individual, partnership, firm or corporation who is currently in the business of regularly installing related alarm systems and/or of providing related alarm systems services under contract, and is in the possession of the appropriate and current licenses and/or certificates as required by law.

Class R members shall have voting privileges and may run for office.

(Dues invoiced upon acceptance. After March 31st, dues are pro-rated as of membership start date).

Regular Membership

 1-2 Employees -$150.00

 3-25 Employees - $300.00

 26+ Employees - $600.00

 

Class A / Associate Member: Any individual, partnership, firm or corporation that is a distributor, manufacturer, or UL listed monitoring station, who are in the business of supplying related materials or services to the Class R membership. Class A members shall have voting privileges and may run for office.

Class A Annual Dues: $300.00

(Dues invoiced upon acceptance. After March 31st, dues are pro-rated as of membership start date).

 

Class I / Individual Member: Architects, engineers, consultants, insurers, manufactures representatives, and others who do not qualify for the class R or A memberships. Class I members shall have voting privileges and may run for office.

Class I Annual Dues: $150.00

(Dues invoiced upon acceptance. After March 31st, dues are pro-rated as of membership start date).

 

Class G-1 / Government Members: Police, Sheriff, Fire bureaus and departments. Class G-1 members may run for office and shall have voting privileges with the following exception: A Class G-1 member director shall be elected by a majority of the Class G-1 members, and shall have one vote to be exercised on behalf of all

Class G-1 members on each matter submitted to a vote of the members. All Class G-1 members shall enjoy OBFAA member benefits.

Annual Dues: $25.00

(Dues invoiced upon acceptance. After March 31st, dues are pro-rated as of membership start date).

 

Class G-2 / Government Members: Police, Sheriff, Fire bureaus and departments. Class G-2 members shall not have voting privileges and may not run for office.

Class G-2 members shall enjoy OBFAA member benefits.

Class G-2 Annual Dues: $0- No Fee.

**You will receive a confirmation email of membership and an emailed invoice which will be due at the end of the month submitted.
